We advise and represent the economic agents involved in relative monopolistic practices or illegal concentrations who wish to obtain the benefits of reduced sanctions, through the early termination of the investigation procedure.

An economic agent may apply for exemption or reduction of the amount of the fine if it undertakes to terminate or correct the relative monopolistic practice or unlawful concentration and must take appropriate measures to set aside or correct the relative practice or unlawful concentration.

The Plenum of the Commission or the Institute shall evaluate the proposal for commitments and decide whether or not to accept them. If the incumbent accepts the Commission´s resolution, it will be granted with a waiver or reduction of the fine that may correspond. An economic agent will only be able to apply for this benefit every five years.
